Welcome to Small Art School

Small Art School (SAS) is a self-financed art school, founded by a Japanese art teacher – Tomoko Kasahara, with the aim to provide free art education to Cambodian children, especially to those children who have the will to learn but lack the opportunities to learn.

Under the Cambodian big blue sky,

wishing for children to feel happy and alive

as they treasure their childhood days,

hoping that joy transcends

upon their shining eyes,

and wishing their hearts will be satisfied.

“With such hopes and wishes, I established ‘Small Art School’ in December 2008, to provide free art education for Cambodian Children.”

“I value the children’s creative imagination and I would like to actively encourage their expression of joy through different art programs and activities.”
